The Single-Payer System at the End of the Tunnel

I did not want and do not like Obamacare, the same as I do not want or like a government-funded single-payer system, but why do people act as though the latter cannot happen? And why does everyone assume that Obamacare will collapse from the weight of its ineptitude and the country's general dislike of it? Folks, there is a reason that Obamacare passed in the first place, and there are reasons why it is more likely to morph into single-payer than it is to get repealed or fail and get replaced by another version of semi--private medicine. Once more, with feeling: SOCIAL PROGRAMS PASSED INTO LAW IN THIS COUNTRY DO NOT GET REPEALED AND THEY DO NOT DIE, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE REALLY ROTTEN PROGRAMS. So, given the surety that some form of Obamacare will be forever with us, the only thing to figure out is what form that will take. Whether due to clever planning or bumbling ineptitude, it won't be long before the Dems in Congress and their RINO accomplices sigh a big sigh and decide that the only way to fix health care post-Obamacare debacle is to move to a single-payer system. I guarantee that will happen, and probably before Obama leaves office.
