2MM Enrolled: Bald-faced Presidential Lie-of-the-Day
Based on the facts that (1) President Obama has rarely told the truth about anything since he has been in office, and has likely not told the truth ever about anything connected to Obamacare; (2) Kathleen Sebelius -- see No. 1; (3) there is absolutely no mention of the source for the claim that 2 million people have enrolled in Obamacare, other than "trust us, we're the White House;" and (4) no one has defined for us what "enrolled" means, a term that for the White House almost certainly does not mean that all 2 million of those "enrolled" (a) had their information transmitted correctly to the insurer and (b) successfully paid the first month's premium, The Motley Blogger has determined that this claim is no more than the standard bald-faced Presidential lie.
But no matter, we already don't believe anything President Obama says, and the White House could care less if their "fact" morphs into a premeditated lie somewhere down the road. The important thing is to always preserve the narrative today, damn what may come tomorrow.
And where is the Press and their fact checks on this claim? Seemingly, MIA for at least the next three years.
